Description
Alexander is a large, wooden rocking horse with an English dapple grey finish. His body is hand-carved from poplar (tulip wood) and his stand from ash. His saddle is made from top-quality vegetable tanned leather with solid brass fittings. Alexander has extra long and thick grey hair on hide which is the most realistic hair available. He also has bespoke all-black saddle, reins and Martingale.
Like all our horses, Alexander was hand-carved and painted by James Hignett in our bespoke workshop in Kempston, Bedfordshire. James draws on more than a century of family expertise and tradition to craft his horses.
