Description
Margaret is a large, wooden rocking horse with an antique dapple grey finish. Her body is hand-carved from poplar (tulip wood) and her stand from ash. Her saddle is made from top-quality vegetable tanned leather with solid brass fittings, and her mane and tail are made from real horse hair.
Like all our horses, Margaret was hand-carved and painted by James Hignett in our bespoke workshop in Kempston, Bedfordshire. James draws on more than a century of family expertise and tradition to craft his horses.
